Sleeping with papa, Japanese style!
Yuzuki sleeping on my back, proper Japanese style, she wakes up every time I try to get her out, not sure if my 39 year old back thats used to doing nothing is up to the task, ouch!

Earthquake in Japan, we are ok!
Apologies for the lack of updates, as you might have seen there was a earthquake followed by a tsunami in Japan. The earthquake hit just off the coast of Sendai as indicated by the circles at the right which we could very much feel in Chiba, right next to Tokyo as indicated by the A in the closeup on the left.
We are mostly save due to there being a big landmass between us and the coast that was hit by the tsunami. Sadly can’t say the same for Sendai where several members of my mother in law live.
Will update once we find out more as obviously things are a bit chaotic down there.
If you feel the urge to help please consider donating to the Red Cross, sadly the Japanese Red Cross website is down but in a way it’s much better to donate to the Red Cross in general, they do awesome work!
Another morning in Hanashima Park
Steps that go from the main grass plain to the stream section of the park.
Some of the trees are flowering.
Our house is next to the parking lot on the left so all we need to do is cross the road.
The park uses some sort of natural filtering where the water flows down and is pumped back to the top of the hill.

Yuzuki is crazy for Edemame beans.
No idea why but ever since Hinata moved to Japan he ended up with bright red, very warm cheeks. Looks cute but curious why.
Huge selection of nice deserts in a all you can eat restaurant, bad news for those who want to loose a few kilo’s, like me!
